Taxes: The declared billing in the Tirana agri-food market increases by 60%!
The General Directorate of Taxes (DPT) announced that it is continuing monitoring and controls to formalize the food market and increase food safety.
The Tax Administration (TA) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) have conducted monitoring and controls throughout Albania this week.
The DPT announces that, from the analysis of the agri-food market in Tirana, a 60% increase in declared billing has been found.
Since the beginning of July, the Tax Administration, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development have launched nationwide inspections of taxpayers who trade in food and livestock products, with the aim of not only formalizing the sector, but also guaranteeing the quality of food products in order to protect consumers.
