Illegal constructions in Theth/State Police: All leaders of the Shkodra Police are dismissed from duty!
The Director General of the State Police, Ilir Proda, announced today that, due to the situation of unauthorized construction in the center of Theth, the director of the Shkodra Local Directorate, Fatmir Lleshi, the chief of the Police Station, Nik Nikolla, have been dismissed from their duties, and the chief of the Theth police station has been suspended from his duties.
"Given the recent situation created with the constructions in the center of Theth, I have ordered an in-depth investigation to be conducted, and I inform you that the chief of the Theth Police Station has been immediately suspended from duty and disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against him. I believe that as a function of his unjustifiable inaction, he has chosen his path to not be part of the State Police and I find no reason for him to wear the police uniform anymore ," said Proda.
For several days now, the campaign to free up public spaces has been underway in several cities in the country, including Theth.
