Minister Salla at UBT: Partnership with BOKU brings international diploma for students
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Andis Salla, participated today in the ceremony marking the start of the new academic year at the Agricultural University of Tirana (UBT).
In a post on his social media, Salla emphasizes that this academic year, the number of enrollments in the 9 joint programs designed with BOKU University of Vienna marked an increase of over 20%, reflecting the high interest of students and confidence in the quality of education offered.
"This result is the fruit of efforts to bring education closer to the labor market and to turn UBT into a center of excellence in the region," says Salla.
Thanks to this partnership, students benefit from a double degree and international experience, having the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills at one of the most renowned Albanian academic institutions.
According to the Minister, through the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and UBT, students will have the opportunity to develop professionally through internships and employment programs, in support of the "Agriculture 2030" vision.
Minister Salla wished success to all the new students, emphasizing their role in the transformation of Albanian agriculture towards a modern, sustainable and competitive sector in European markets, on Albania's irreversible path towards the European Union.
