Notifications for local tax debtors in e-albania - Aiming for more transparency and efficiency

The General Directorate of Local Taxes and Tariffs announces that now notifications and payment requests addressed to debtors will no longer be sent only through physical mail, but have also become accessible electronically, through the e-Albania portal.
According to the official announcement, this process aims to significantly increase transparency, facilitate access to information and save time for individuals and businesses, so that every debtor is informed as soon as possible about their obligations.
The notification is found in the "My Documents" section in e-Albania, both from the business profile and from the individual profile, for owners of commercial units.
The electronic service "Local Taxes and Fees - Municipality of Tirana" enables businesses and citizens who own property or carry out economic activity in the territory of the Municipality of Tirana to have direct and real-time access to the updated value of their local obligations, including the relevant penalties in case of non-payment of these obligations on time.
This service provides immediate information on local obligations and consultation of the general debtor situation towards the Municipality of Tirana for each entity.
This initiative is part of efforts to modernize public administration, ensuring efficiency, real-time information, and direct interaction.
