Minister Hoxha meets with Commissioner Kos: Albania determined to maintain the pace of negotiations
"For Albania, the objective remains clear: to move forward with determination and close as many negotiation chapters as possible this year, while continuing to implement reforms and commitments," Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha said after a meeting in Dublin with EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos.

It is a pleasure to meet and talk with the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, on the sidelines of the General Affairs Council, which is taking place over these two days in Dublin.
We will never miss a chance to be present wherever enlargement is discussed, to present the Albanian model; and wherever enlargement is on the agenda, Marta Kos is there to move the process forward.
We exchanged views on the current dynamics of the accession process, its prospects and, above all, the importance of maintaining the pace and momentum of the negotiations.
For Albania, the objective remains clear: to move forward with determination and close as many negotiating chapters as possible this year, while continuing to implement reforms and commitments. We remain fully focused on the work ahead and determined to maintain the momentum of the negotiations.
