"The three wounds of the state must be cured" - Rama presents new platforms to increase interaction with citizens

Prime Minister Edi Rama held an extended meeting with ministers and the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party this Friday. In his speech, Rama listed the challenges that the government currently faces.
"Today we must face three wounds that feed each other. The labyrinthine state, the second wound is the lack of institutional memory, promises are made, talks are made, but a complete register of written accounts is not kept of what was done, what was not done, what was delayed or changed along the way. The lack of memory costs the state and the citizen much more.
The third is the wound of the invisible light, which is seen and touched by the often righteous feeling of every person in Albania that for a service, a job, recognition is worth more than merit and fate is worth more than the law.
"Pasqyrë Albania, Besa and Shkalla e Meritës are an inseparable part of answering questions and healing these wounds. Pasqyrë Albania is a new space," Rama said.
In his speech, the head of government focused on the BESA platforms, "Pasqyrë Albania", "Loyal Presence" and "Shkalla e Meritës".
“'Pasqyrë Albania'' is not a superportal, but it is a new space where, thanks to technology and the extraordinary opportunity that Artificial Intelligence gives us at this stage of our development, the entire public being of the state and the full right of every citizen to control their own state, to question their own state and to seek support from their own state can coexist. The first appearance of "Pasqyrë" that will be available to everyone will be a component of it, which is called "Flamingo Mirror", the Flamingo Mirror, where all possible and imaginable aspects related to an issue of particular importance will be exposed from A to Z, and in this specific case, the topic of Sazan and Nartë - Pishë Poros, not Nartë - Vjosa, there is no Nartë - Vjosa. This is fake news, Nartë-Vjosa is on the other side, Nartë-Pishë Poros, it will all be exposed with the relevant documents, with the data of the minutes, with the status of the negotiations, with the legal references for all the points raised as problems, and then it will be enriched step by step with the project, with the environmental study, with everything.
"The Faithful Presence" is not an electoral calendar, it is not an organizational calendar, nor is it, in fact, a purely party calendar. It is part of a system that turns listening into a condition and the condition into an obligation to respond. Our problem has never been that we have not known how to hold meetings, in fact, we have been everywhere on the map of Albania for meetings as many times as anyone else and it will take years for others to gather all the meetings they hold to reach a level of meetings similar to the meetings we have held and are holding in the span of a year. "The Faithful Presence" is a system that should discipline institutions, not turn deputies into brokers of people's troubles.
The "Merit Scale" will open a door that will always remain open, again through PasqyrAlbania, where the citizen who wants, the young person who wants, in Tirana, Albania or Australia, always a citizen of the Republic of Albania, although it is time to open it to EU citizens as well, can present himself and register with a passport of his own merit.
The exam becomes digital. . The exam is not just a screen, but a system. The question bank is handled by the system, the evaluators are completely blind, those who enter the Merit Scale, for the Mirror are just a code, not a name. Based on the passport, the code receives the signal, enters the competition. The decision is ultimately certified by the relevant commission but it becomes very difficult to overturn it", said Rama.
The Prime Minister said that a "Digital Radar" will also be created, which will monitor the dynamics in the online space, to distinguish the real concerns of citizens from fake news and pressures on the government and businesses. Meanwhile, the work of MPs will be evaluated through a new module with 100 performance points.
