Ministers Denaj and Malaj, meetings with business - Complete tracking of fiscal documentation of livestock products and not only
Authorities have sounded the alarm about the sale of milk, meat and other livestock products without tax invoices. Starting next week, any such products circulating without the necessary documentation will be immediately confiscated, as they pose a major risk to the health of citizens.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, together with the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, have launched a series of meetings with representatives of businesses and farmers to inform and raise awareness about the importance of formalization and provision of fiscal documentation.
Minister Malaj stated that the purpose of this campaign is not only in the context of formalization, but also of food safety.
On the other hand, Anila Denaj said that if there is a fiscal invoice, traceability becomes easier.
This measure aims not only to protect consumers, but also to build a healthy and transparent economy, in line with the European standards that Albania aims to meet on its path towards integration into the European Union.
