Nufi: Guna Tactical, a strategic investment that employs people and impacts the community every day
The Minister of Defense, Ermal Nufi, has shared views from the construction site of the "Guna Tactical" company, where construction of one of the most important public-private partnership investments in the Albanian defense industry is ongoing.
In a video message published on social networks, Nufi emphasizes that "Guna Tactical" will produce military clothing not only for Albania, but also for the regional market and other countries.
"Today, over 290 people work in this industry, while their number is expected to exceed 1,000 once the site is fully operational," the minister said.
Nufi particularly emphasized the impact of investment on employment and the surrounding community, describing the defense industry as a sector that, in addition to generating income, creates jobs and new development opportunities.
"We are proud of the fact that this industry not only generates revenue, but employs people and impacts the community every day," Nufi stated.
“Guna Tactical” was established as a joint venture between the state-owned enterprise KAYO and the private company MSSC. Its activity includes the design, production, marketing and export of military uniforms and accessories, with a focus on the Armed Forces, other security structures, countries in the region and NATO allies.
The investment aims to strengthen the domestic capacities of the defense industry, turning Albania into a manufacturing point for military uniforms and equipment for international markets.
