Over the past few days, the Customs Administration informs that it has continued intensive controls on means of transport and goods in circulation, in order to implement the rules for the protection of intellectual property rights and the prevention of the trade in counterfeit goods.
As a result of these controls, a significant amount of goods suspected of being counterfeits of well-known international brands have been identified and blocked.
During the inspections, the following were found:
• Clothing and accessory items from brands such as Polo, Stone Island, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chloe, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo, Prada, Gucci, Moncler, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Loro Piana and others;
• Sports items and clothing sets with brands such as Nike, Adidas, Lacoste, Oysho, Zara, Boss, Armani, etc.;
• Perfumes from well-known brands such as Dior, Gucci, Tom Ford, Valentino, Prada, Armani and others.
Some of the goods found were blocked due to suspicions of infringement of intellectual property rights, while another part was blocked due to non-compliance with the declared documentation.
