SPAK's request to the Assembly - Rama: We will not review it, the issue
In the podcast "Flasim", Prime Minister Rama spoke about SPAK's request to the Parliament. Considering the request to suspend a member of the government extreme and anti-democratic, Rama made it clear that the Albanian Parliament will not consider SPAK's request to lift the immunity of MP and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, until the Constitutional Court rules on the matter.

''I am very curious why the prosecutors who rushed with an impressive speed to address the Parliament for extreme measures, in recent days, did not take into account that first of all we are in a face-to-face case in the Constitutional Court on January 22nd where the highest court of the country must judge on the merits the issue of the measure of antidemocratic suspension of a member of the government at the request of the prosecution.

I raise this question because in any country, where justice does not run, but judges, it would wait for the end of the trial for one measure, before requesting another measure, because the rule of law is not a place for confrontation between independent powers, nor for the encroachment of one power in the constitutional territory of another power.

Today, I do not have the answer, but I will continue to read, I will continue to learn, and I will continue to make all my efforts to better understand the in-depth analysis of the symptoms of brutality in the exercise of judicial power, and I will certainly have my answer to the above in due time.

But in the meantime, as has been made clear in the Mandates Committee in the Assembly, there is no chance that we, the governing and parliamentary majority of this country, will consider the prosecutors' hasty request to authorize new extreme measures, which, even in light of the report of the Council of Europe experts, even in light of the report of the Council of Europe's "torture" Commission, even in light of many other things, are indeed to be taken and judged very calmly, but not without once and for all finishing the process that we have opened in the Constitutional Court, for the extreme measure, for the antidemocratic and unconstitutional measure of suspension by the prosecutors who, as if nothing had happened and nothing had happened, came running to request other measures. Justice does not run, justice judges'' - said Rama in the podcast 'Flasim'.
