3.4 billion lek for Shkodra - Budget 2026, Beci: 80% more investments and services
3.4 billion lek will be the budget of the Shkodra Municipality for 2026. With 30 votes in favor, 12 against and 1 abstention, the Shkodra Municipality Council approved next year's budget, which will ensure the continuity of investments and services for citizens.
During the presentation of the priorities for the coming year, the mayor, Benet Beci, underlined that this budget brings to Shkodra the continuity of investments and services to the city's residents. A fund of 1.6 million euros will go to social housing.
This budget is 15% higher than last year's, while the projected investments will be 80% more. The focus will be on infrastructure, the implementation of projects in cooperation with foreign donors.
One of the special projects for 2026 is the complete reconstruction of the "Qazim Dervishi" sports palace, according to the requests of the Shkodra sports community.
