Balluku meets the Minister of Environment and Energy of Italy – In focus, the construction of the underwater line that will connect the two countries!

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, held a meeting today with the Minister of Environment and Energy of Italy, Gilberto Pichetto Frati.
"Today I had the pleasure of having a fruitful conversation with the Minister of Environment and Energy of Italy, Gilberto Pichetto Frati. We discussed at length the strengthening of cooperation between Albania and Italy in the energy sector, with a focus on the strategic project for the construction of the underwater line that will connect our two countries."
A project, part of the East-West energy corridor, which includes Romania-Bulgaria-Greece-Albania and Italy, as an important corridor for the energy security of the entire region.
This investment will open a new chapter in our relations and contribute to energy security and sustainability in the region.
"The excellent relations between Albania and Italy are a solid basis for doing even more to serve our citizens," Balluku said in a post on social media.
