In focus, addressing economic challenges - Kosovo Chamber of Commerce

The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has welcomed the successful conclusion of the electoral and democratic process in the Republic of Kosovo. On behalf of the business community, the Chamber congratulated the winner of the elections, the Vetëvendosje Movement, as well as the incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

The Chamber has emphasized the expectation for the rapid formation of new institutions, underlining the need for the new government to focus on addressing the numerous challenges facing Kosovo's economy.

Likewise, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry has reiterated its commitment to continue its role as an active and constructive partner of state institutions, in function of the overall economic development of the country.

"On behalf of the business community, we congratulate the winner of the elections, the Vetevendosje Movement, and the Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, wishing them success in leading the country's institutions. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry expects the rapid formation of new institutions and that the new government will focus on overcoming the many challenges facing the economy. The Chamber remains committed to continuing its traditional commitment to being an active and constructive partner of institutions for the benefit of the overall development of Kosovo," the Chamber of Commerce and Industry said in a statement.

Also, according to the Chamber, open and sustainable dialogue between the government and the private sector remains a key factor in building a stronger and more sustainable Kosovo for its citizens.

In the early parliamentary elections held on Sunday, LVV won 49.30% of the votes, followed by PDK with 21.01% and LDK with 13.59%. Meanwhile, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, according to these results, received 5.68% of the votes.
