Energy Development, Karakaçi Hosts the Director of the Energy Community Secretariat, Artur Lorkowsi
The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Enea Karakaçi, had a meeting today with the Director of the Energy Community Secretariat, Artur Lorkowsi. According to a statement shared on his social media, Karakaçi announced that the meeting discussed Albania's progress report in the energy sector and expectations for performance in 2026. According to the minister, part of the discussions was also the progress in energy efficiency and energy performance in buildings.
In his post on social media, Karakaçi writes:
"With the Director of the Energy Community Secretariat, Artur Lorkowsi, in a meeting regarding Albania's progress report in the energy sector and expectations for performance in 2026, as an important year in the further development of the sector towards energy market integration. We also shared opinions on the progress in energy efficiency issues and energy performance in buildings. We were pleased to hear assessments of the positive performance of the sector and Albania's environmental sustainability."
