Government Decisions: Rewards for people in need, special pensions for artists and athletes
At the last meeting for this year, the Council of Ministers decided to reward 15 thousand lek (new) on the occasion of the year-end holidays to families and individuals receiving economic assistance, persons with disabilities, the blind, paraplegics and tetraplegics, as well as personal assistants of beneficiaries of disability payments.
In a notice distributed by the Media and Information Agency, the following details are provided by category:
The Council of Ministers decided:
•People with incomes of up to 40,000 (forty thousand) lek per month on 31.12.2025 will receive monthly income compensation of up to 1,800 (one thousand eight hundred) lek per month, according to categories
•People with incomes of up to 22,000 (twenty-two thousand) lek per month on 31.12.2025 will receive monthly income compensation of up to 800 (eight hundred) lek per month, according to categories
•People with incomes of up to 18,000 (eighteen thousand) lek per month on 31.12.2025 will receive monthly income compensation of up to 1,000 (one thousand) lek per month, according to categories
•People with incomes of up to 30,000 (thirty thousand) lek per month on 31.12.2025, who benefit from a disability pension, determined according to the law, will benefit from monthly income compensation of up to 600 (six hundred) lek per month.
•People with incomes of up to 18,000 (eighteen thousand) lek per month on 31.12.2025, who benefit from a family pension, determined according to the law, will benefit from monthly income compensation of up to 700 (seven hundred) lek per month.
•The following categories will receive financial support for 2025, in the amount of 15,000 (fifteen thousand) lekë:
a) Families and individuals who are treated with economic assistance
b) Children without parental care, placed in foster families;
c) Persons with disabilities
ç) Individuals benefiting from the status
"Status of paraplegic and tetraplegic invalids",
d) Individuals benefiting from the status "For the status of the blind"
dh) Personal assistants of disability payment beneficiaries
Granting of special pension supplement:
Granting a special state pension supplement of ten times the amount
