AAPSK's rental income increases by nearly 39% in the first 11 months of 2025

The revenues of the Sequestered and Confiscated Assets Administration Agency (AAPSK) from property leasing have increased significantly during 2025, reflecting a significant improvement in efficiency in the administration and use of these assets.
According to official data, in the first 11 months of 2025 (January-November), AAPSK generated around 199 million lek in rental income, compared to 143.5 million lek in the same period of 2024.
This translates into an absolute increase of around 55.6 million lek, or nearly 39% more compared to the previous year.
2025 thus closes as one of the highest performing years for AAPSK, turning the administration of seized and confiscated assets into an increasingly important source of revenue for the agency.
Monthly analysis shows that most of the growth is concentrated in a few key months, where revenues have significantly exceeded 2024 levels.
The month of September 2025 results in the highest level of income, with around 22.4 million lek, followed by July, with over 20.2 million lek, March, with around 19.6 million lek, as well as August and November, which remain above the monthly average of the year.
The 11-month performance shows that the year 2025 is closing with a much more positive financial balance for AAPSK, confirming a stable upward trend compared to 2024.
The increase in rental income signals more effective use of seized and confiscated assets, increased transparency and formalization of rental contracts, as well as a greater contribution of these assets to public finances.
In this context, the 2025 figures position the AAPSK as an increasingly active actor in the return of assets obtained from criminal activity into economic value for the public interest, strengthening its institutional role in the administration of state assets.
