Around 28 thousand informal properties treated in 2025/ ASHK: Legalizations continue throughout the country

The State Cadastral Agency announces that, during this year, around 28 thousand informal properties have been treated, bringing the total number of properties treated over the years across the country to nearly 300 thousand.
The legalization process remains a priority, as it guarantees citizens legal security over property and creates opportunities for sustainable urban development. Also, the legalization process is continuing without interruption, with the aim of finalizing each case and guaranteeing complete legal documentation for citizens.
The legalization of informal buildings not only ends property insecurity for thousands of families, but also creates new opportunities for urban development, investment, and increased property value.
During this year, the focus has been on accelerating administrative procedures, field verification and handling of pending cases, aiming to provide every citizen who meets the legal criteria with the relevant documentation.
According to the State Cadastre Agency, the work will continue with the same intensity in the future, until the full completion of the legalization process, with the aim of including every informal object in the legalization process, providing a final solution to a long-standing problem.
