Taxes begin control over the formalization of the agricultural and livestock market!
Starting today, the nationwide inspection of taxpayers who trade in food and livestock products begins, with the aim of not only formalizing the sector, but also guaranteeing the quality of food products in order to protect consumers.
On July 7, the Tax Administration notified about 12,000 taxpayers through the official website and pop-up messages in their e-Filing accounts, calling for each item to be accompanied by a fiscalized tax invoice.
They are warned that in case of non-compliance they will face the penalties provided by law.
The General Directorate of Taxes recalls that every agricultural and livestock product that is available and sold must be accompanied by a fiscalized purchase invoice, which must clearly identify the seller and the origin of the product.
Also, every product sold to the final consumer must be accompanied by a fiscalized invoice, which accurately reflects the name and price of the product.
