“Albania 2030”/ Rama: We are working on a new oil supply system. More efficient price control!
Prime Minister Edi Rama, during a meeting on local performance in function of the "Albania 2030" vision, stated that work is being done on a new oil supply system.
"We are working intensively with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure on a new oil supply system, it is a necessity and an opportunity to move to oil supply with a new component of the state as a protagonist in the realization of contracts and oil supply," said the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Rama emphasized that "we are very confident that this will bring very efficient control both over the price and over the entire oil circulation system."
"The time has come to move to a new role for the state, for the government in the economy, to produce success by becoming a party, a part, and for this reason, if you look, we have changed the entire approach to property as a whole and have placed the state in the role of the owner who does not give up property but takes its share on behalf of the citizens," he also said.
Also focusing on the supply of medicines, Rama said that " we are working with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection on the issue of medicines to supply the entire system, both public and private, with medicines, and again with the state as a party, as a protagonist."
