Massive demolition in Orikum: IKMT demolishes 18 unauthorized buildings, paving the way for the redevelopment of the Vlora–Radhimë–Orikum coast
The National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection announces that it is carrying out the demolition of 18 unauthorized buildings in the Orikum area today. The intervention paves the way for the continuation of the project "Requalification of the Vlorë-Radhima-Orikum coast", transforming the coastline into one of the most frequented areas by tourists.
According to the announcement, the buildings being intervened in are of reinforced concrete construction with a total area of approximately 480 m², a building with wooden construction with a total area of approximately 450 m², and tents with metal constructions.
IKMT informs that in parallel with the demolition of unauthorized buildings, other additional measures have also been taken against offending entities according to legal provisions.
