Rama: The fourth mandate is a debt to the citizens, the opposition is offered the floor, not the noise
Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech in the Assembly, emphasized that the government's fourth mandate is not simply a political formality, but a great responsibility in the face of the trust of citizens.
" I am not here today to formally carry out a vote of confidence in the new government, with the arithmetic support of an unusual majority in this hall, and I want to tell the majority that not one mandate, but entire political years, is not enough to reward the extraordinary trust that Albanians gave us this time. 83 mandates or over 50% of voters in support are figures of an extraordinary debt for the 4th mandate ," Rama said.
Rama emphasized that the opposition will have the space and attention it deserves in the Assembly, but not if it chooses to use the noise of the tables instead of arguments.
" New will and energy at every step for the success of this new mandate. I want to say to the minority that it is not our business what you do and say outside this hall, but in this hall and out of respect for your voters, you will have our attention and the time you want if you forget about using your body, hands, feet as an argument and about noise and knocking over tables with your hands as an alternative. Otherwise, our presence here will last as long as a voting process ," said Rama.
