"Revived Rail Transport" Program 2025 -2029 / Investments for "rails" during the 4-year period
The 2025-2029 government program considers “the complete modernization of the railway infrastructure” as a strategic objective. Together with roads, ports and airports, according to the document, the envisaged investments will transform Albania “into a key node of the Western Balkans and an integral part of the trans-European transport and energy networks (TEN-T and TEN-E), as a decisive step towards European integration.” Under the title “revived railway transport,” the document lists the railway projects where investments will be made.
