Rama: Six new housing programs within the framework of "Rilindja 2.0"

Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today the launch of the new National Housing Program for Albania, Rilindja 2.0.
At the event organized on the occasion of the presentation of this program, Rama stated that it is a moment when the conditions have matured after a year of intensive work to make public the main milestones of the new National Housing Program.
The Prime Minister emphasized that this is not a new national program that is purely financial, but rather a new national program as the embodiment of a very deep structural reform, which has already taken the form of a legal draft.
In this regard, Rama emphasized that this program will soon go to public consultation and then to parliament to change the approach to this very important and increasingly acute topic due to the difficulties that young families and young people in general encounter on the path to acquiring a home.
But Rama underlined that this is not a hot topic just in Albania and it is not just a local problem, it is a major European problem.
"The more developed the European countries are, the bigger this problem is. This is one of those results of the development of these years that we must face in a different way, because the development of the last decade has completely changed people's perspective on the country," Rama added.
Therefore, the Prime Minister emphasized that Rilindja 2.0 is a vision raised to another level in a number of aspects, and housing has its own essential aspect.
Rama informed that there are 6 new programs that will be addressed all together in a comprehensive reform.
