Works on the Kashari overpass - ARRSH announces traffic diversion on August 14-15
Blockage of two lanes in the Tirana-Durres direction during the night of August 14 and 15, while traffic towards the airport continues normally
The Albanian Road Authority announces that, within the framework of the works for the project "Expansion of the Tirana-Durres Superhighway, Phase III", the assembly of the metal beams of the new Kashari overpass will be carried out.
The works will take place on August 14 and 15, 2026, from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM. To ensure road safety, two lanes of the main axis in the Tirana-Durres direction will be blocked during this interval.
Traffic traveling towards Durrës will be diverted to the two lanes on the left side of the highway, which will temporarily function as a two-way road.
ARRSH clarifies that vehicles destined for Tirana International Airport will continue to move without hindrance.
The Albanian Road Authority requests the understanding of drivers, businesses and residents of the area during the development of these works.
