Employment promotion programs - Rama: 2200 boys and girls benefit from the government's youth guarantee for 4 years

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a meeting with young people employed by employment promotion programs, shared some data about Albania today and the great progress it has made with the support provided to young people.
According to him, Albania, according to the OECD, a very serious source of data and observations, is the country that ranks first in the region for employment services and this is positive because it clearly shows that the work we have done these years to build an employment services scheme has given us an encouraging result.
"There are 7 programs that operate today to promote employment, covering all categories and ranging from professional internships to on-the-job training, from self-employment to social reintegration. Another piece of information that is good for young people to know, which is completely normal for them to be distrustful and indifferent, is that in just the last 5 years, 42 thousand young people have been employed through our employment offices and through these services. Of this figure, 7500 are individuals who have benefited from the programs and are in work today.
"On top of this structure that we have built, we also have the youth guarantee, which is a successful European model that is being implemented here as well, and there are 2,200 boys and girls who are benefiting from the youth guarantee, the objective of which is for 60,000 boys and girls to be supported within the years of this governing mandate."
The head of government emphasized that this year the highest level of enrollment in vocational education has been achieved, but according to him, we are far from where we want to reach.
