The application phase for the National Investment Scheme is concluded: 801 requests from farmers across the country!

The National Investment Scheme 2025 has successfully concluded the application phase on September 30, marking high interest from farmers across the country.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Andis Salla, announced through a post on social networks that a total of 801 applications have been registered for 9 support measures, which aim to modernize farms, increase domestic production and the sustainable development of rural areas.
Minister Salla emphasizes that the process is currently in the administrative review phase, in accordance with the criteria and deadlines set out in the scheme's guidelines, to ensure transparency, fairness and real support for every farmer who invests in the future of Albanian agriculture.
"Our commitment is to guarantee transparency, fairness and real support for every farmer who has chosen to invest in the future of Albanian agriculture. The high interest in this scheme is proof of confidence in our support policies for the rural sector," said Salla.
The National Investment Scheme 2025 offers financial support of 20 million euros, and includes support in the form of grants of up to 50% of the investment value, soft loans with an interest rate of 2%, as well as sovereign guarantees to facilitate access to financing.
The investment areas included in the scheme are broad and comprehensive: construction of solar greenhouses, new plantings of fruit trees, olive groves and vineyards, modern irrigation systems, hail protection nets, equipment and infrastructure for livestock and poultry, processing and packaging of agricultural products, development of agrotourism, as well as support for the aquaculture sector.
After the administrative review is completed, applications that meet the criteria will move on to the technical evaluation phase and final selection of beneficiaries, based on a fair and transparent ranking.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development remains committed to supporting Albanian farmers in increasing production capacities and improving the competitiveness of Albanian agriculture in the domestic and international market.
