Another former finance minister in the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania, the government proposes Ervin Mete

Another former finance minister is expected to be added to the Supervisory Board of the Bank of Albania. The government has approved its two candidacies which will be voted on in the Assembly. The list includes Ervin Mete, former finance minister, and Ms. Jonida Prifti.
Mete will also find his counterparts Anastas Angjeli and Ritvan Bode on the Bank's Council. Meanwhile, another former finance minister was part of the Board, but was dismissed from there, Arben Malaj.
It is currently expected that the Bank's Supervisory Board will be filled with new members, three proposed by the Assembly and three by the Government.
This week the Bank announced that it postponed monetary policy decision-making because the Supervisory Council is not complete.
