Over 1,300 new businesses opened in December - NCC processes nearly 10,000 applications from entities

December has closed as a month of increased commitment for the National Business Center, which throughout this period has been close to businesses and citizens, offering continuous services in registrations, applications and administrative assistance.
During this month, the Central Business Center has processed a total of 9,986 applications, while 1,380 new businesses have been registered, an indicator of the continued interest in formalizing and developing economic activity. In parallel, 130 new licenses and 25 new permits have been issued, facilitating the processes for carrying out activities in various sectors.
A significant portion of services were provided through digital platforms. 8,462 applications were filed with the Commercial Registry, while 716 applications were filed with the Beneficial Owners Registry. Also, 808 applications were filed with the Permits and Licenses Registry, confirming the increasing orientation towards online services.
In addition to the registration and licensing processes, the Central Bank of Kosovo has also provided ongoing assistance to citizens and businesses. During December alone, 1,112 phone calls were assisted, 318 communications were conducted via direct chat with operators, and 610 requests were handled through the assistance ticket system and electronic communication via email.
According to the Central Bank, these data reflect a high volume of work, increased use of digital services, and a commitment to providing faster and more efficient services to businesses and citizens.
