The retail price for a liter of diesel will be no more than 197 lek/liter and for gasoline no more than 172 lek/liter. The decision comes into effect this Saturday at 10:30. This is more or less the essence of the announcement that the Board made this morning. The announcement states:
The Transparency Board on April 18, 2026, at its next meeting, decided:
The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard shall be no more than 197 lek/liter, while the wholesale price shall be no more than 185 lek/liter.
The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 172 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 160 lek/liter.
The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, the 18th, at 10:30 am and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.
We draw the attention of every operator of wholesale and retail sales of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision.
In case of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided.
