Governor Sejko meets the Executive Director for Albania at the World Bank, Bugamelli

Governor Sejko held a meeting with Mr. Matteo Bugamelli, Executive Director for Albania at the WB, in the context of participating in the 2026 Spring Meetings of the IMF and the WB, in Washington DC, USA.
During the meeting, the latest developments and main challenges of the banking sector in Albania were discussed, whose activity continues to develop in a sustainable manner.
Governor Sejko expressed his appreciation for the World Bank's continued support, especially in projects related to the modernization of the payment system and its alignment with European standards, emphasizing the importance of continued technical assistance for the successful completion of these initiatives.
