Over 111 thousand passengers traveled through the Port of Durres in July 2025/ APD: Foreigners lead with 70 thousand!
The Durres Port Authority announced today that a total of 111,049 passengers entered and exited the Port of Durres during the month of July 2025 alone, marking it as the month with the highest pace of this tourist season.
According to data from the Durrës Port Authority, foreign citizens lead this flow with 70,281 passengers, while 40,768 are Albanian citizens who have used maritime transport for holidays within or outside the country.
In total, 83,116 passengers were received and another 27,933 were transported through the ferry terminal, which operated at full capacity, with no delays or problems noted.
Port Security structures, Border Police, customs agents and other law enforcement agencies were engaged in managing the flow, which enabled an orderly and efficient process throughout the month.
Comparative data shows that this year's figures remain almost at the same levels as July 2024, with a minimal difference of about 1% less, or 1,981 passengers, reflecting high stability of passenger flow in this sector.
