Financial support for vocational training courses - From programming to cinematography. The government finances the training

The instruction of the Minister of Economy and Innovation on vocational training programs that will be financially supported during 2026, within the framework of the employment promotion program, comes into force.
According to the guidance, for 2026 financial support will be provided for two main areas of professional training for programming and the cultural and creative industry.
The field of programming includes a number of specializations related to technology and digital development, such as coding, computer programming, application development, robotics, electronics, data science, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. Also part of these programs will be training in software testing and design, web design, user experience and interface, as well as other related fields such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and machine learning.
Meanwhile, the field of cultural and creative industries includes training programs related to the artistic and audiovisual production sector. This includes specializations such as: artistic department, camera and cinematography, costume design, lighting and technical equipment, sound engineering and post-production, visual and special effects, as well as production, direction and promotion.
According to the instruction published in the Official Gazette, the funds for the implementation of these programs will be covered by the employment promotion program, while the National Employment and Skills Agency will be responsible for implementation.
Vocational training courses aim at the qualification and requalification of job seekers, in order to prepare for rapid integration into the labor market and have a duration of 3 to 12 months. Institutions offering vocational training courses compete through an application to receive financial support.
The applicant cumulatively meets the general criteria and the request and documentation for the participation of interested vocational training institutions in the financial support scheme are submitted through the e-Albania portal.
Likewise, it is intended that through these programs they will increase employment opportunities and prepare professionals in sectors that are increasingly in demand in the labor market.
