New criteria for free oil in agriculture - What documents must be submitted to

Farmers applying to receive cash payments for agricultural oil used for mechanized work must meet several new criteria.

The joint instruction of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Finance stipulates that "each beneficiary must prove the agricultural activity for which it applies, by submitting: a purchase invoice for one of the inputs such as planting material (seeds or seedlings)/chemical fertilizers/pesticides; or an invoice for the sale of the production.

Invoices can be uploaded to the system at the time of application or can be physically submitted to Agropika or to the central offices of the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development, either physically or by mail, until payment or before inspection (for entities that can be inspected before payment).

The instruction also stipulates that the documentation that must be uploaded to the system depends on the ownership or use status of the agricultural land for which it is applied and its registration status with the State Cadastre Agency.

The documentation required according to the different scenarios is: Certificate of ownership, accompanied by the property card and the indicative map when the farmer has it; AMPT, when the applicant has an AMTP for agricultural land issued in his name as a representative of the agricultural family; when the applicant is a member of the agricultural family that has received the land in the property, he must submit AMTP, Family Certificate of the situation on 1.8.1991, Agreement of agreement of the majority of the members of the agricultural family in the current situation, regarding the cultivation/use of the land by the applicant. And in cases where the applicant has received the agricultural land on rent or in use, he must submit a lease agreement, loan-use agreement or a legal document signed between the parties (accompanied by the relevant ownership documents).

Applications will be open until May 30, 2025. All those who meet the criteria will benefit from up to 186 euros per hectare, depending on the crop. Last year, over 52 thousand farmers across the country benefited from this scheme.
