BIO production, financing up to 2 thousand euros per farm - What are the application criteria and deadlines for farmers?
The government will support organic production in the country, as an obligation within the framework of membership in the European Union, but also to increase exports of value-added products to international markets.
Organic farming is part of the EU's "Farm to Fork" Strategy and is considered an important and sustainable agricultural system, with a target of at least 25% of EU agricultural land being under organic farming by 2030.
Thus, organic farms for the transition period, in the first year, will be financed in the amount of 100 thousand lek. In the second and third year with 150 thousand lek and also certified farms will be financed up to 200 thousand lek per farm.
Interested parties will have the opportunity to apply to the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency until May 30.
All applicants who are in the certification system/scheme, in transition (first year, second year) benefit.
