Conference on the Recovery of Ukraine - Rama is welcomed by Giorgia Meloni!
Prime Minister Edi Rama arrived in Rome today where he will participate in the Ukraine Recovery Conference, one of the most important international forums of this year, in support of Ukraine and its reconstruction after the devastating consequences of the war with Russia.
Rama was welcomed at the "Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025" by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who will also open the conference.
The Ukraine Recovery Conference is expected to be attended by world leaders, senior representatives of the EU, the G7, international organizations, financial institutions, and the private sector, to coordinate concrete assistance and strategic investments in key sectors of Ukraine.
The conference will feature speeches by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska.
The Ukraine Recovery Conference is the leading international event on the reconstruction of Ukraine. The Rome edition follows the Lugano (2022), London (2023) and Berlin (2024) Conferences. The aim of the conference is to continue mobilizing governments, the private sector, international financial institutions, local communities and civil society for the recovery, reconstruction and modernization of Ukraine.
The conference is expected to be attended by more than 3,500 participants, around a hundred official delegations and 40 international organizations, 2,000 companies (of which around 500 are Italian), hundreds of representatives of local authorities and civil society.
