10% VAT compensation for farmers - Minister Malaj: Collect invoices for products

"VAT compensation for all farmers. For every product you have started selling from January 1, 2026 onwards, you will have to collect invoices for the products you take to collectors and twice a year, on June 30 and January 1, you will take the invoices to the tax authorities and you will be compensated with 10% of the value of the invoices.
On the other hand, we are confident and hopeful that IPARD 3 will be opened in September, which is another 118 million euros for the agricultural sector.
"Are they sufficient or not, we can definitely say that they are not sufficient because agriculture needs more, but I believe that we are on the right track to take agriculture to another level and make it competitive in European markets, " he said.
