Commissioner Dervishi participates in the distribution of the first training certificates for Personal Data Protection Officers!
The Commissioner for the Right to Information and Personal Data Protection, Besnik Dervishi, participated in the ceremony held on the occasion of the distribution of training certificates for the professional training and qualification program of the first group of Personal Data Protection Officers.
The training, conducted with the contribution of certified trainers from the Office of the Commissioner, aimed to familiarize and deepen topics such as: the role and responsibilities of Personal Data Protection Officers, the criteria that an Officer must meet, the treatment of data subjects' rights, risk management and data processing auditing, addressing data breach cases and assessing the impact on data, understanding the notions of controller, processor, co-controllers as well as the preparation of contracts between them, international data transfer, ethics, transparency and communication.
Such professional trainings serve to build a professional infrastructure that will guarantee a more secure, sustainable and European standard implementation of the right to personal data protection in Albania, therefore the Commissioner's Office is engaged in organizing a training calendar that will take place in the coming months.
