Israel launches attacks on Iran, state of emergency in Tel Aviv/ MEPJ calls on Albanian citizens in Israel to be careful
Israel has launched a “preemptive” strike on Iran, reigniting tensions between the two countries for the second time in less than a year. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the operation was aimed at “eliminating threats to the State of Israel,” while declaring a “special and permanent state of emergency” across the country in anticipation of a possible Iranian missile response.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Albanian Embassy in Tel Aviv are closely following developments and remain in constant contact with diplomatic missions in the region. The Albanian Embassy in Tel Aviv is at the full disposal of Albanian citizens in Israel and is in constant communication with local authorities.
In two announcements for Albanian citizens currently in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the MEPJ advises them to show increased caution and vigilance due to the recent situation.
