"Invest in Albania, a key point in the Mediterranean" - French President Macron appeals to investors from around the world

From the International Economic Summit, French President Emmanuel Macron has encouraged investors from around the world to invest in Albania, describing our country as stable, reliable, and a key point in the Mediterranean.
"It's great to have you in Europe, I know you come from different parts of the world. This is a stable and reliable country. And in this crazy world, don't underestimate the power of such qualities. And I'm very happy to be here, beyond jokes with Prime Minister Edi Rama, because here in Albania you clearly find a gateway to the Western Balkans region and it's a key point in the Mediterranean. So I encourage you to invest in Albania because you have strong leadership, and in the next two years it will join the EU. So I encourage you to invest and trust in Europe because we need the trust of your investments in order to make our ambitious agenda a reality."
While in his speech, Prime Minister Edi Rama also had an appeal for investors and asked with great confidence, translated into investments.
"This country wants more and needs more people to believe in and the good thing we have in Albania is that we are good friends of many countries. We are strategic partners of the EU, the US and we are close partners of Saudi Arabia and we see with admiration the vision and ambition that is happening in these countries. We are in a good place to try and learn from different realities and take the best of them. We are aware that the time we are living in is complicated and the trend in the world is polarization and the definition of polarization is the closing of an era and the beginning of a new one."
The two leaders emphasized the need for Europe to change and embrace a new era. Building a single European market and reducing red tape were identified as key priorities in order to encourage investment.
