Albania-Moldova/ Memorandum of Understanding signed for mutual cooperation and exchange of knowledge in European integration
Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, hosted today the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration of Moldova, Cristina Gherasimov.
Both parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which focuses on promoting mutual cooperation and knowledge exchange in European integration to support successful preparation for EU membership.
The two countries will cooperate in areas such as accession processes, including stabilization, association and accession negotiations; exchange of knowledge and negotiation practices between negotiators and experts; organization of joint activities such as meetings, seminars and conferences; strengthening institutional structures and administrative capacities for EU membership obligations; promotion of the Green Agenda; support for digital transformation, including cybersecurity and digital economy initiatives, etc.
During the meeting with Gherasimov, Hasani informed him about the best historical moment that Albania is currently going through in the context of European integration, while the parties agreed to intensify efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation between our two countries.
