International Investors in Albania/AIDA: The number of foreign-owned businesses increased by 44%!
The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) announced that, in the last 3 months, April-June 2025, the registration of foreign-owned businesses and Albanian-foreign partnerships has seen a significant increase.
According to statistics published by AIDA, for the period April-June 2025, 541 businesses with foreign ownership and 94 with joint Albanian and foreign ownership were registered.
Compared to the same period last year, the number of registered businesses with foreign ownership increased by 44% and those with joint ownership increased by 42%.
AIDA estimates that the indicators are a strong sign of confidence in the Albanian market, and an increase in interest from global investors, while emphasizing that, "Albania is becoming a key point for business initiatives with a global vision."
