Investments in the electricity sector - Projects, from the underground substation in Tirana, to the connection of new power plants to the grid

Investments in the electricity sector aim to reduce losses in the network, incorporate innovative technologies, and integrate new generation capacities with the electricity grid.
The details were revealed during panel discussions on Albania's Energy Transition, at the 31st edition of the Tirana International Fair, where some of the projects currently being worked on were shared.
In addition to investments, a special focus in the discussion was devoted to the scientific and technological dimension.
During the panel, the director for Albania of the company Voltalia shared her experience in developing photovoltaic parks in Karavasta and Spitalë.
Meanwhile, the director of the Energy Efficiency Agency, Ani Hasa, announced that there are a number of projects for the renovation of public and private buildings that are expected to be undertaken.
