Artificial Intelligence at work, where does Albania rank? The US leads globally, while the region presents notable differences

Claude AI, an artificial intelligence developed by Anthropic, is gaining more and more use around the world, especially in the workplace where it is used for writing, programming, and data analysis. This chatbot, similar to ChatGPT, represents one of the most advanced developments in the field of artificial intelligence.
According to an analysis published by Visual Capitalist, Claude usage varies significantly from one country to another, based on the ratio of actual to expected usage by working-age population. In this global ranking of 116 countries, Albania ranks 67th, indicating an average level of usage.
In the region, Serbia ranks higher, in 40th place, while North Macedonia ranks 49th. On the other hand, Bosnia and Herzegovina holds the last place in the region for the use of this artificial intelligence model.
Globally, the United States leads in total users, while countries like Israel, Singapore, and South Korea stand out for high per capita usage. South Korea, in particular, ranks among the countries with the highest per capita adoption, while Australia, Canada, and New Zealand also exhibit high levels of usage.
Most of the high-performing countries are located in North America, Europe, Oceania and parts of East Asia. Interestingly, Malta and Georgia rank in the top 20, thanks to the development of innovation ecosystems and efforts to integrate artificial intelligence into their institutions.
At the bottom of the list are countries like Tanzania and Angola, which exhibit the lowest levels of Claude usage, reflecting global differences in access and technological development.
Overall, the data shows that the use of Claude AI is higher in developed countries and those with strong digital economies. Albania, although in an average position, shows a stable presence in the use of this technology compared to other countries in the region.
