80 businesses offer over 2 thousand job vacancies - Ribaj: The need for a new bridge of cooperation between the state and entrepreneurship

The labor market in Albania is going through a dynamic phase where the demand for labor remains high. At the last fair, about 80 businesses have announced their vacancies, aiming at the immediate recruitment of personnel in various profiles. Beyond direct employment, increased attention is being paid to career guidance.
Vocational secondary education is being promoted as a strategic choice for students and parents, aiming for faster and more qualitative integration into the labor market.
Gertiola Çepani, Director of Labor Market Services, AKPA: "At this fair, there are over 80 businesses that have announced job vacancies, but we also have the participation of universities, vocational training centers, and employment offices. Of the employers that are at the fair, there are about 2,000 job vacancies, in addition to the 5,500 others that are already actively announced on the employment portal puna.gov.al. In addition to employment, in fact, at this fair we also promote secondary vocational education for all parents or students who want to choose secondary vocational education as one of the best choices now for integration into the labor market."
The need for a more flexible approach to market changes is seen as the key to success, with the private sector remaining the fastest in adopting innovations.
Artur Ribaj Pedagog: "The fair is a meeting place between parties that must have common interests, where they can exchange their opinions and offers or requests to be achieved and fulfilled. It is very well organized, it is necessary, but there should be more participation. I also think that there should be greater cooperation between public institutions and private universities, which are more flexible in adapting to the market and changes and needs. So, in the private sector we always have faster access to changes and innovations."
The challenges of the labor market require not only vacancies, but above all proper qualification and coordination of business demand with academic offer.
