1.95 million euros in liabilities forgiven - DPT: 651 taxpayers benefited from automatic forgiveness during August
During the month of August, 651 taxpayers benefited from the automatic forgiveness of tax liabilities, with a total value of 1.95 million euros.
The news was announced by the General Directorate of Taxes, which emphasizes that the process continues and aims to give businesses more space to continue their activity and grow within the legal framework.
Taxpayers who meet the conditions set out in the law can benefit from these facilities, if they fulfill the relevant obligations by December 2026.
The Tax Administration considers this mechanism an opportunity for businesses facing financial difficulties, aiming at the same time to formalize and continue their activity.
