40 fires in 24 hours, flames still active - Dajti, Dibra, Shkodra and

40 fires have been reported in the country over the past 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Defense, 6 fires remain active, 9 are under surveillance, while 25 have been completely extinguished.

492 operational forces and 36 firefighting vehicles have been engaged in operations to cope with the situation. In support of them, the Armed Forces have made available 133 personnel, a helicopter, two firefighting vehicles, 13 vehicles, a drone and an ambulance.

In Dajti Mountain, in Tirana, the fire continues to burn, but without endangering residential areas. 30 members of the Armed Forces are planned for the intervention on the ground. Meanwhile, the fire in Mali me Gropa has been isolated and is being monitored.

The situation remains active in several areas of Dibra, including Lundre–Madhesh, Cerrujë/Mali i Allushit and Selishtë. In Shkodër, the fire continues in Porav of Fushë-Arrëz, while in Fier the hearth remains active in Çërrilë of Mallakastrë, in an area of ​​pine, oak and shrub forest.

In other regions, including Lezha, Elbasan, and Korça, most outbreaks have been extinguished or are under surveillance.

For today, the Armed Forces have planned to deploy at least 80 personnel in Dajt, Çërrila and Rragam, while Civil Protection structures continue to monitor the situation throughout the country.

The priority of operations remains the protection of citizens' lives, homes and property, while forces on the ground remain on standby for intervention.
