Law on the forgiveness of obligations, Taxes: In August, 1.95 million euros of obligations were erased for 651 taxpayers
During the month of August, 1.95 million euros in liabilities for 651 taxpayers were written off in the tax system. The Tax Directorate published the figure on its social networks, stating that the implementation of the law on debt forgiveness is giving business breathing space to move forward.

During August, 651 taxpayers benefited from the automatic forgiveness, with 1.95 million euros of obligations deleted/extinguished.
The process continues. Taxpayers who meet the conditions provided for in the law have the opportunity to benefit from its facilities, fulfilling their obligations by December 2026.
