Bank assets in Kosovo, 9.22 billion euros - Loans and deposits recorded an increase in November

The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK) has published statistics on commercial banks for November 2025, according to which the assets of these institutions reached a value of 9.22 billion euros, marking a decrease of 1.23% compared to October.
Gross loans at the end of November were 6.55 billion euros, marking an increase of about 54.49 million euros, or 0.84% compared to the previous month, while the value of new loans was 203.75 million euros. According to the CBK, the average interest rate on new loans in November was 6.69%.
Customer deposits reached a value of 7.39 billion euros, marking an increase of about 33 million euros, or 0.45% compared to October, while the value of new deposits was 79.62 million euros. The average interest rate on new deposits was 3.08%.
The total capital of commercial banks at the end of November 2025 reached 1.12 billion euros. Meanwhile, loan provisions have increased by about 1.6% compared to the previous month, reaching 153.69 million euros, the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo reports.
