Over 23 thousand workplaces inspected by the Labor Inspectorate - 668 administrative measures after inspections in 902 entities

Labor market inspections continue with the aim of ensuring compliance with legislation and improving working conditions for employees. According to data published for February by the State Inspectorate of Labor and Social Services, 902 entities have been inspected during the recent period, while the inspections have included a total of 23,043 workplaces throughout the country.
The authorities announce that in addition to regular inspections, 136 advisory inspections have been conducted, which aim to assist businesses in implementing labor legislation, as well as in improving occupational health and safety standards.
The inspections conducted have identified a number of violations, for which 668 administrative measures have been imposed on entities that have not respected legal obligations. These measures are mainly related to non-compliance with safety conditions at work, documentation of employment relationships or other obligations arising from the relevant legislation.
Meanwhile, the institution has also handled 99 complaints submitted by citizens and employees, which are related to labor relations and conditions in the workplace.
According to the Labor Inspectorate, field inspections will continue in the future, with a focus on ensuring respect for employee rights, formalizing the labor market, and improving safety standards in the workplace.
