'Cleaning the "wound" in Theth continues' - Rama: KLP should

Prime Minister Edi Rama said today that work is still ongoing to clean up the "wound" that opened up in Theth, following the construction of a tourist village there.

During a direct communication on social networks, the head of government said that the Ministry of Justice is preparing all the documents through which it will ask the High Prosecutorial Council to seriously look into the Shkodra Prosecution Office and not just Ms. Gjeli.

"It is very worrying what happened in Theth, where the state structures that acted were left in the lurch by a prosecutor, while the Prosecution also takes her into its protection. And these people also take a subject called logic in school, but in their analyses and statements there is only no logic. That lack of logic in a law enforcement body translates into very great damage to the Republic, the community, individuals, nature, to our common wealth, to the image of the country in the eyes of those hundreds of tourists yesterday and today in Theth who see the fadromas ," he said.

Rama stated that the fadromas are there "to clean the open wound of a totally irresponsible individual who has committed multiple crimes and whose identity is still unknown because prosecutor Gjeli has let him go, deciding not to open the case, without conducting any investigation."

"This is a battle on all four sides, this is why we have received a fourth mandate ," Rama concluded.
